JABS X TONE
Step Aerobics meets kickboxing. My Tone class is specifically known for the music- your inner badass will come out and help you conquer the difficult parts of the class. The class is broken down into a Jabbing section (choreographed moves on the step and simple punching combos), and a Toning section using weights or bands. I keep the Jabbing choreography for 2 months, so you have tons of chances to come back and master it. I demo every single JAB whether it is Day 1 or 2 months in, to make sure Jabbers of all levels feel successful.

JABs x CARDIO
Cardio is a HIIT-style Dance class (with punches and kicks of course) that will show you what your max heart rate is. The entire class is performed with 2-3 lb dumbbells in each arm for arm and core toning. The class ends with a choreographed ab sequence and boxing drills.

Think: JABS x Tone but on fire. Minimal demo-ing; in Advanced JABS you have the foundation of Jabbing down and your endurance is up for the challenge of no breaks between songs. All weighted exercises during the toning section of class are done on the "Double Height" step - so 14 inches for a more intense workout, hitting greater range of motions and therefore requiring greater strength. Work up to Advanced JABS by taking my JABS x Tone classes. ***Must have taken 20+ Tone classes before enrolling in Advanced.

JABS x Abs
My favorite muscle group to train on myself, and on others is abs. I feel so strongly in core as a fundamental muscle group to all types of movement, whether it is every day life, or helping you perform other strength-building exercises elsewhere in the body by working as the stabilizer. My abs class helps you learn how to properly engage your core during all kinds of moves - plank work, supine ab work, obliques, standing abs, and even some cardio movements and jabbing. This class also works to strengthen the lower back. I hope the knowledge you take away from this class also improves your ability to activate your core during other workouts as well!
